Sponsor a child battling cancer!
"Warrior Angels" are caring volunteers who dedicate a piece of their time
and money to sponsor a family whose child has cancer.  Our "Warrior
Angels" are only required to send something special to the child on
treatment and siblings, once a month.  It can be something as simple as a
new action figure or they can put together a themed care package each
month.  The idea is to send something to help the child feel happier and
encouraged.  We truly believe a happy heart is a healing heart and a
child that feels joy and happiness have a more positive outlook and their
bodies feel stronger.


Q. What can I expect to spend each month?

Answer. It is entirely up to each individual volunteer how much they
spend.  The sky is the limit on how special you can actually make your
sponsored child feel.  The average financial commitment usually ranges
around $20.00/month (includes shipping) but this varies depending on
weight and size of packages you choose to send.  A Warrior Angel who is
financially strapped can send items from the $1 aisle at Target stores and
include a letter or card. You don't have to make a huge financial
commitment to sponsor and make a huge difference in a child's life. It
means more to these children and their families that the Warrior Angel
stays committed and never forgets to send then how much money you
spend!  Children are the FIRST ones to notice if a Warrior Angel is not
committed and since Children are our entire reason for this program, we
ask you to please remain committed.  

Q. How long is my commitment as a Warrior Angel?

A.  Each Warrior Angel sponsors a child battling cancer for their entire
course of treatment and up to the one-year milestone off treatment.  The
average assignment lasts 1-1/2 to 2 years.  We offer more temporary
ways to sponsor for those who are unsure if they can sponsor for the
entire assignment. Consider being a "Birthday Angel" if you need a more
flexible way to sponsor.  No matter which way you sign up, you can stop
volunteering at any time by sending us an email or calling..
