| What started out in 2007 as a month long fundraising effort to pay one small bill for a family in need has grown into much more! We are now working directly with Aflac Cancer Center social workers to receive referrals for the most needy families who have a child on treatment for cancer and helping keep them from "going under" due to the financial strain treatment causes. They have enough to worry about, and losing their home or the electricity being turned off does not need to be one of them! These families are experiencing financial CRISIS! The growth of our program has been made possible because of individuals and corporations who believe in helping us make a difference! Their financial support is what keeps us alive. We are 100% volunteer operated so your donation will be making a direct impact on these courageous families. Cancer Warriors accepts referrals by social workers through Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Egleston for local GEORGIA families in need of financial assistance who have a child battling cancer and are receiving treatment through their Aflac Cancer Center. Donations can be made by check, or credit/debit card. Checks can be mailed to Cancer Warriors, PO Box 39, Hiram, GA 30141 or a secure PayPal payment can be made with your card. Below are just a few of the families we have been able to provide financial assistance to over this past year thanks to individual & corporate donations!
